Dr. H. Shahrasbi, DDS, MSD

Dr. H. Shahrasbi received his DDS degree from Tehran University in the top 5% of his class in 1989. After 5 years of private practice, he came to the U.S. with his family for advanced education in prosthodontics (implants and cosmetic dentistry).

Dr. Shahrasbi received his masters and certification in prosthodontics from the University of Florida with honors in 2001. He moved to the great state of Washington to reside in the Bellevue area, and now has a full service dental practice conveniently located in Federal Way, Washington, a short drive from Seattle.

Since 2001, Dr Shahrasbi has been teaching as an affiliated Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr Shahrasbi is an active member of the Washington Prosthetic Society, and serves as their president at this time for 2009-2010. 

In 2005, he was elected as one of the Best US Prosthodontists. Dr. Shahrasbi attends several educational meetings in such areas as Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry as well as advanced techniques for TMJ treatment and sleep apnea.

It is always a challenge to keep up with technology that is changing so rapidly. It is his goal to always provide you with the latest, best tested, most effective procedures and materials. You deserve nothing less than the best. For Dr. Shahrasbi, dentistry is a passion. It is his life. It is rewarding work that he pours himself into on an ongoing basis.

Dr. Shahrasbi says "I think it's my responsibility to share what I have learned. I've taught dental students at the University of Florida and the UW for the last 20 years. I believe the experience I share with them will help improve the quality of dental care in our community. My job is not just about restoring teeth. It's about improving people's lives."

Dr. Shahrasbi's goal is to provide the most effective treatment possible. His greatest reward is seeing the same patient's years later, still finding great satisfaction with the function and appearance of their teeth. That makes all the effort worthwhile. Dr Shahrasbi shares his life with his wife and two children.
